With a sample of 182 respondents, statistical analyses were performed to understand patterns in consumer preferences. The analysis reveals a significant relationship between educational qualifications and transmission preferences, while age and income show negligible influence. The results underline the importance of technological awareness and urban convenience in driving adoption. This study offers insights for automobile manufacturers and policymakers to shape product strategies and promote broader adoption of advanced car technologies.

Keywords: Automatic Transmission, Automated Manual Transmission, Demographics, Economic Factors, Consumer Behaviour

JEL Classification Number: D12, R41, L62, O33
