| contents |
In Ayurveda all skin diseases are classified under heading Kushta
Roga. Shwitra is one among them. Shwitra is a condition characterized
by whitish discoloured patches on the body, it is caused due to
involvement of Sapta Dravya’s i.e., Vata, Pitta, Kapha, Rasa, Rakta,
Mamsa and Meda.
