| contents |
The diverse zoo of warp metric models in general relativity lacks a unifying structure for systematic comparison and falsification. This study constructs a rigorous, symbolic framework to address this gap. We introduce a generalized warp metric ansatz defined by a finite set of deformation generators, allowing us to derive the Einstein equations and energy conditions in a symbolic, profile-independent form. Our main results are presented as a series of theorems. (T1) We establish a precise "falsifiability band," a region in the symbolic parameter space where the Null Energy Condition is necessarily violated. (T2) We prove that our framework recovers canonical solutions (e.g., Alcubierre, Natário) as specific submanifolds in the parameter space. (T3) We demonstrate the robustness of our energy condition tests under a general class of observer fields. This work, supported by reproducible code (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17251840), provides a systematic methodology for classifying and constraining warp-like geometries within classical general relativity.
|
