contents
This part positions the Plancktom framework (ERT + I_P) within established physics and information science. It argues that Plancktom is a complementary base layer that preserves all validated low-energy results while introducing a physical cutoff (“one cell – one mode – one energy – one bit”) and an explicit information quantum I_P.

10.1 – Relation to QFT. QFT remains the effective low-energy interface; divergences handled by renormalization are replaced in Plancktom by a capacity ceiling per ERT cell (E_P, I_P). Degrees of freedom are finite per volume and tick, yielding potential, testable high-energy deviations while recovering Standard Model predictions in the low-energy limit.
10.2 – Relation to GR. Continuous geometry emerges from discrete ERT cells at macroscales. Singularities are avoided by per-cell capacity; time is operationally counted in Planck ticks t_P. Gravity can be read both geometrically (GR) and as information-correlation dynamics among cells—consistent with all current tests, differing only near Planck regimes.
10.3 – Thermodynamics and entropy. I_P ≈ 1 acts as a minimal entropy/information quantum. Microstate counting becomes cell-based; via correlations, volume counts project to areas, reproducing Bekenstein–Hawking scaling. Entropy grows with expansion yet remains bounded—no divergent “heat death.”
10.4 – Holography and dualities. Holographic behavior arises emergently: strong correlations near horizons project volumetric information onto surfaces. Dualities (incl. AdS/CFT) are reinterpreted as complementary views of the same capacity principle in energy–information terms.
10.5 – Quantum information theory. Qubits, channels, and entanglement acquire physical limits: max information flow per cell per tick; an irreducible Planck-noise floor sets ultimate bounds for computation, communication, and error correction—extending Landauer with hard capacity constraints.
10.6 – Consolidation. Plancktom is compatible with QFT/GR/QIT, integrates them as low-energy/special-case limits, and introduces I_P as a fourth fundamental alongside ħ, c, G. Falsifiability is preserved through clear pass/fail structures across high-precision lab physics and cosmology.
