-
Abstract: This study explores the comprehension of Islamic financial education among new learners. It aims to identify various attributes of quality teaching and to explore the impact of teaching effectiveness on educational quality ratings among the undergraduate students. A questionnaire called i-SEEQ was developed specifically for this purpose. The i-SEEQ, consisting of 22 items, was administered to a total of 109 students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Islamic Banking at UiTM Puncak Alam. The item's reliability is highly commendable, with a rating of +0.97. The results of the Wright Map analysis showed that out of the 109 students surveyed, 48 students expressed agreement on the 7 areas of i-SEEQ that contribute to the quality of education in Islamic finance, whereas 61 students expressed less agreement regarding these sections. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Rasch Measurement Model, utilizing the Wright Map, was highly effective in evaluating the students' level of agreement on each portion of the i-SEEQ questionnaire. This assessment can greatly contribute to the provision of high-quality education in the field of Islamic finance, particularly for new learners.

Keywords: Educational Quality, Islamic Finance, New Leaners, Wright Map

JEL Classification Number: I22, I230
