Through the ACT4CAP27 project, new analytical tools and open-access methodologies are being developed to support transparent, participatory, and data-driven policy design that aligns with the EU’s long-term sustainability objectives.

The Policy Brief emphasizes the importance of adopting a comprehensive food systems approach that captures the interconnections between production, consumption, public health, and the environment. By enhancing data accessibility, stakeholder engagement, and policy adaptability, policymakers can ensure coherent and future-proof frameworks for the agri-food sector.

In collaboration with other Horizon Europe projects such as LAMASUS and BrightSpace, ACT4CAP27 also contributes to a shared modelling agenda for the post-2027 CAP, identifying priority action areas like resilience, nutrient autonomy, innovation, and digitalisation. Together, these efforts strengthen the EU’s capacity to design integrated, evidence-based agri-food policies for a sustainable and prosperous future.

Funding acknowledgement

Funded by the European Union.
