contents
Electroepilation remains the only radical method of permanent hair removal, providing irreversible destruction of the hair follicle. Despite its long practical history, the physical mechanisms underlying its effectiveness are described only fragmentarily in professional literature. This work systematically compares the frequency ranges used in electroepilation (0.8–27.12 MHz) with data from radiofrequency coagulation studies, revealing the physical causes of differences in heat localization, coagulation profiles, and treatment comfort. The review summarizes thermal effects depending on frequency and highlights the physical factors influencing efficiency and safety.
