Based on a detailed analysis of script, layout, illustrations, and linguistic structure, this hypothesis proposes that the manuscript does not primarily contain encrypted knowledge but was designed as a deliberate deception. This work argues that the author was likely a renegade, monastically trained scribe – a “resourceful charlatan” who used craft mastery, imitation of linguistic structures, and formal coherence to create credibility. This perspective plausibly explains the manuscript’s technical perfection, linguistic simulation, and extensive effort better than the theory of a wealthy eccentric. The meta-decipherment of the manuscript thus lies in reconstructing the strategies used to create outward credibility, not in reconstructing semantic content.</span></p> |
