contents
This concept note presents a strategy for the temporal synchronization of antioxidants and cryoprotectants in ex-vivo liver perfusion. By decoupling dose and timing, the approach enables homogeneous perfusion and simultaneous activation of antioxidants and ice recrystallization inhibitors through remote magneto-thermal or acoustic/photonic triggers. The “distribute-then-activate” logic reduces oxidative and osmotic stress, improves CPA entry, and minimizes recrystallization during warming, offering a scalable pathway for organ banking and nanowarming integration.
