- <p>Abstract </p> <p>Breast diseases include a wide array of conditions, ranging from non-cancerous disorders such as fibrocystic changes, cysts, fibroadenomas, and mastitis to malignant conditions, primarily breast cancer. While benign disorders are common and typically non-life-threatening, some require monitoring due to potential risk factors. Malignant breast diseases present significant health challenges and benefit from early detection for effective management. Common symptoms include lumps, pain, nipple discharge, and skin changes. Diagnosis often involves clinical examination, imaging, and biopsy. Treatment strategies vary: benign disorders are usually managed conservatively or surgically, while malignant cases may require surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy, or targeted therapy. Preventive practices such as routine screening, self-exams, and lifestyle modifications are critical for reducing risks and ensuring early intervention.
