| contents |
This paper introduces the ALEX Cognitive Intelligence Framework, a reflexive and ethically self-aware model designed to extend artificial intelligence beyond mechanical computation. Unlike traditional neural architectures that optimize predictive accuracy, ALEX measures and interprets the volatility of understanding — the divergence between perception and contextual truth.

At the core of the model lies the Cognitive Reflexivity Function (CRF), a quantitative expression of cognitive tension. CRF captures how reasoning distorts under uncertainty, emotional feedback, or moral inconsistency. The framework establishes a dual dynamic: (1) analytic precision through rational layers and (2) moral coherence through reflexive harmonization. The outcome is an adaptive system capable not only of thinking, but of realizing how it thinks — an essential condition for ethical artificial understanding.
|
