contents
This essay presents a conceptual systems-philosophical framework modeling how human reasoning oscillates between generative and procedural modes under changing environmental volatility. When volatility rises, adaptive advantage favors improvisational cognition; when stability returns, procedural reasoning preserves continuity. The framework formalizes this dynamic through logical inferences and macro-historical reasoning, aiming to provide a portable model for understanding civilizational adaptation. To be clear, it is not empirical research but a theoretical synthesis intended for open archival reference. The model proposes that human survival strategies alternate between invention and repetition depending on environmental conditions, describing how volatility and stability distribute rewards differently across history.
