This paper proposes an optimization algorithm inspired by urban microclimate and the urban heat island effect—the Urban Microclimate Dynamics Optimization (UMDO) algorithm. This algorithm simulates urban heat flow and dynamic equilibrium by introducing a thermal flux tensor, a local wind vector field, and nighttime cooling and heat retention mechanisms, achieving a balance between global exploration and local development. This paper details the algorithm's mechanism, mathematical model, and innovative features, providing a theoretical foundation for physics-inspired optimization methods.
