contents <p><span lang="EN-US">All magic and mystery disappear as soon as an obscure mysterious concept gets a rigorous formal definition. <br>Only a sufficiently formally defined concept allows us to judge how </span><span>«</span><span lang="EN-US">hard</span><span>»</span><span lang="EN-US"> the problem associated with it is. The more vague and indefinite a concept is, the more </span><span>«</span><span lang="EN-US">hard</span><span>»</span><span lang="EN-US"> all the </span><span>«</span><span lang="EN-US">problems</span><span>»</span><span lang="EN-US"> formulated for it are.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">The ability to form qualia / sensory experience appeared in living organisms long before the appearance of the brain and, moreover, consciousness.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">The described approach allows us to naturally separate the processes of functioning of consciousness and the formation of sensory images that consciousness operates with, but which it does not create. Since the mechanism of formation of such sensory images was created by natural evolution long before the emergence of consciousness and it operates in a very similar way in both conscious and non-conscious living beings.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">Thus, consciousness does not create sensory images, but receives them ready-made from the sensory memory of the living being, which is the keeper of qualia.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">This is actually an Easy Approach to the Hard Problem of Consciousness.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">The direct connection of the Hard Problem of Consciousness with the problem of AI grounding (the insufficiency of only verbal descriptions for an adequate understanding of the physical world by the AI) is also considered.</span></p> <p><span lang="RU">/</span></p> <p><span lang="RU">Вся магия и таинственность исчезают, как только неясное таинственное понятие получает строгое формальное определение.</span></p> <p><span lang="RU">Только достаточно формально определенное понятие позволяет судить о том, насколько «трудна» связанная с ним проблема. Чем более размытым и неопределенным является понятие, тем более «трудны» все формулируемые для него «проблемы».</span></p> <p><span lang="RU">Способность к формированию квалиа / сенсорного опыта появилась у живых организмов задолго до появления головного мозга и, тем более, сознания.</span></p> <p><span lang="RU">Изложенный подход позволяет естественным образом разделить процессы функционирования сознания и формирования сенсорных образов, которыми сознание оперирует, но которые не создает. Поскольку механизм формирования таких сенсорных образов создан естественной эволюцией задолго до возникновения сознания и функционирует весьма похожим образом как у обладающих, так и не обладающих сознанием организмов.</span></p> <p><span lang="RU">Таким образом, сознание не создаёт сенсорные образы, а получает их уже в готовом виде из сенсорной памяти организма, являющейся хранителем квалиа.</span></p> <p><span lang="RU">Это, собственно, и является Простым Решением Трудной Проблемы Сознания.<br>Также рассмотрена непосредственная связь Трудной Проблемы Сознания с проблемой AI grounding / «заземления ИИ», а именно недостаточности только лишь вербальных описаний понятий для адекватного понимания ИИ физического мира.</span></p>
