| contents | <p><strong><span lang="EN-GB">Abstract</span></strong></p> <p><em><span>The study examined the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on students’ academic performance at Wesley University, Ondo State, Nigeria. A descriptive research design employing a quantitative survey approach was adopted. The population comprised postgraduate students across 15 departments, from which a sample of 500 respondents was selected through a simple random sampling technique. A structured questionnaire was used as the research instrument, and its validity and reliability were confirmed through expert review. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Findings revealed that the majority of students actively utilized ICT devices, which positively influenced their academic performance. ICT use was found to enhance students’ access to learning resources, improve engagement, and promote collaboration among learners. The study concluded that integrating ICT into teaching and learning significantly contributes to improved academic outcomes. It was recommended that universities intensify efforts to incorporate ICT in instructional practices and promote collaborative, technology-driven learning environments.</span></em></p> |
