Although known as a statesman, Ulugbek’s true legacy lies in his extraordinary achievements in astronomy, mathematics, education, and intellectual development. The paper analyzes the scientific significance of the Samarkand Observatory, the content and impact of the Zij-i Jadid-i Ko‘ragoniy, his educational and scholarly institutions, and the influence of his scientific school on later generations.
