| contents |
This essay proposes that the laws of physics are not fixed, timeless primitives but emergent attractors of an evolving informational substrate. I introduce the concept of metas, long-lived law-regimes that stabilize internal coherence and rewrite incoming information at their boundaries. This framework offers a unified way to reinterpret cosmological anomalies, including apparent accelerated expansion and conflicting radio versus CMB dipoles, without invoking exotic substances. A key insight is that quantum superposition can be understood as a meta-neutral representation, with collapse marking the binding of physical information to a particular meta’s invariants. The Mutual Information Density Hypothesis (MIDH) provides the stability criterion underlying meta formation, persistence, and transitions. The goal is not to present a final theory, but to articulate a coherent alternative to the assumption of timeless laws and to outline a research program grounded in information-theoretic structure.
|
