This paper presents a composite, anonymized case analysis of a patient undergoing palliative oncology care, focusing on psychological adjustment, coping mechanisms, and family-mediated decision-making. Drawing on clinical reflection and existing literature, the analysis explores the interplay of hope, distress, autonomy, and communication.
