•
Bangladesh, located on the Ganges-Brahmaputra Delta, confronts increasing problems from natural disasters exacerbated by climate change, such as cyclones, floods, and riverbank erosion. These events jeopardize the livelihoods of millions, particularly in coastal and riverine populations. This study evaluates the efficacy of river management and canal dredging efforts as adaptive measures to alleviate climate-induced challenges. The research report assesses current practices and suggests scientifically based, sustainable options for improving resilience through field surveys, stakeholder interviews, and policy analysis.
