contents
This study evaluated common scalp and hair health issues among final professional undergraduates of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine. A total of 103 students were randomly selected, and data were collected via a structured online questionnaire and analyzed using Excel. Hair fall (85%) and dandruff (55%) were the most prevalent problems, with female students showing higher rates than males. Multiple factors, including sleep patterns, hair washing habits, styling practices, and living conditions, influenced hair and scalp health, while family history had minimal impact. The findings highlight that adopting proper hair care routines, such as morning washing with warm water and suitable cleansing agents, can help manage scalp and hair issues effectively.

Keywords: Hair health, scalp issues, hair fall, dandruff, undergraduate students, Indigenous Medicine, lifestyle factors, questionnaire survey
