contents <p>This repository contains the FAIR-aligned dataset and pre-analytical R script used in the study <br>“Cross-Continental Multivariate Insights into Maize Silage Production and Allocation (2021–2025)”. <br>The dataset includes aggregated agronomic, climatic, livestock, demographic and economic indicators <br>from seven countries (Australia, Brazil, China, United States, France, Japan and South Africa).</p> <p>The materials adhere to international Open Science and FAIR principles by providing:<br>(1) Access to the aggregated data used in the research;<br>(2) A complete variable dictionary; and<br>(3) A transparent pre-processing script for reproducibility.</p> <p>No statistical analysis scripts (PCA, PERMANOVA) or manuscript files are included at this stage, <br>in compliance with journal policies regarding pre-publication. These files will be released after <br>peer-reviewed acceptance.</p> <p>Contents:<br>• dataset_silagem_2021_2025.csv – Aggregated 2021–2025 dataset<br>• data_dictionary_silagem_2021_2025.csv – Variable definitions, units and metadata<br>• data_preprocessing_silagem_2021_2025.R – Pre-analytical script for import, inspection, and z-score standardization<br>• README – Documentation and usage guidelines<br>• LICENSE – CC-BY 4.0</p> <p>This repository provides a transparent, reusable foundation for future multivariate, comparative and predictive studies on global maize silage systems.</p>
