| contents | <p><strong><span lang="EN-US">Abstract</span></strong></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">Western scholars have meticulously studied every twist and turn in the Russian poet's biography and life, sometimes directly linking them to the plots and themes of her poetry.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">Akhmatova sought new ways to express emotional states and spiritual experiences through poetic language and attempted to break free from the rigid rules of the established metric system of her native language. English-language scholars and the reading public have rightfully appreciated these efforts, as well as her poetic gift for expressing psychological states and emotional impulses through the symbolism of artistic images and inimitable wordplay.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">The theme and authorial idea of a literary text presuppose an exploration of its motivic thematic aspect, which is expressed in the artistic narrative through a complex system of figurative devices. These figurative devices have a hierarchical structure, each component of which is interconnected with the others. Literary analysis involves examining the function of each figurative device, realized within the framework of a unified system.</span></p> <p> </p> |
