-
Obesity has emerged as one of the most critical global health challenges of the 21st century. Despite the availability of numerous obesity-related mobile applications, many fail to offer personalized guidance, accessibility features, or real-time interaction. This paper proposes a novel mobile health (mHealth) application integrating a standard BMI calculator with an intelligent, voice-assisted AI module. The system enables users to ask natural language queries and receive accurate, WHO-based, context-aware health recommendations through speech output. Built using modern Android technologies (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, STT, TTS), the application enhances accessibility for users with limited literacy, visual impairments, or motor restrictions. The presented prototype reflects a scalable, low-cost, and interactive solution that can significantly support personalized obesity management across diverse populations. This work highlights the importance of conversational AI in next-generation healthcare tools and demonstrates its potential for impactful global deployment.
