The research situates the Indian experience within global debates on elder law, referencing United Nations principles and the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing concludes by identifying gaps in law and policy, offering recommendations for reform, and advocating for a binding international convention on the rights of older persons and findings contribute to legal scholarship by bridging doctrinal analysis, empirical research, and policy evaluation, with implications for future legislative and international developments.</p> |
