contents
The HyAfrica Results Ownership List outlines 31 key project outputs from Work Packages WP1 to WP6, detailing ownership, exploitation plans, and IPR protection. It clarifies responsibilities and supports effective dissemination aligned with project goals. Results include data collections, geological models, workflows, socio-economic studies, and communication materials. Each entry notes the owning partner(s), joint ownership, intended use (research, commercial, policy, or licensing), target sectors, and IPR type (e.g., copyrights, patents).
Among the 31 project results, 10 have been highlighted as Key Exploitable Results (KERs) with high potential for future use and impact. The consortium has balanced open dissemination with intellectual property protection: where possible, results are being shared through academic publications, conference presentations, and open-access platforms. At the same time, appropriate IPR protection measures are in place or under consideration for sensitive results—most results will be protected via copyright or kept under an embargo until publication by consortium members.
