- The period from 1750 to 1850 represents a pivotal crucible in human intellectual history, marked by unprecedented global transformations in thought, societal structures, and scientific understanding. This paper argues that this century witnessed a fundamental reorientation of human consciousness, moving from pre-modern paradigms rooted in tradition and authority towards an embrace of reason, empiricism, individualism, and new forms of collective identity. Spanning the zenith of the Enlightenment, the Age of Revolutions, the dawn of industrialization, and the rise of Romanticism, this era saw ideas not only emerge but also collide, adapt, and diffuse across continents with accelerated pace and profound impact.
