| contents | <p>The present study aims to investigate the interrelation between economic, social and cultural rights<br>from the integral vision of human rights; understand the main characteristics of cultural rights and<br>their relevance for building a free, fair and solidary society; and to analyze the democratic practices<br>aimed at ensuring the full exercise of cultural rights, especially by cultural collegiate bodies. The<br>research developed is bibliographical and documental, as well as descriptive and exploratory. The<br>bibliographic research is intended to collect data and information about economic, social and cultural<br>rights and their relationship with democracy. Documentary research is aimed at collecting data and<br>analyzing legal documents that deal with the rights under study at the international, national and local<br>levels, as well as with the composition of cultural collegiate bodies. As a result of the research, it is<br>expected to confirm or invalidate the hypothesis that in the field of creation and enforcement of<br>cultural rights, the constitutional command that ensures community collaboration in the construction<br>of cultural public policies needs to be improved, as it does not ensure a democratic experience<br>compatible with the values enunciated in the 1988 Brazil"s Constitution.<br><br></p> |
