| contents | <p>This article provides a historical and systems-based analysis of how the Swedish Rheumatology Quality Register (SRQ) evolved from an early vendor-driven technical platform into a clinically governed, nationally relevant quality tool. The paper describes technological origins, systemic limitations, and the transition to clinically led operational structures that enabled SRQ to become functional in practice.
