contents
This dataset and manuscript examine the relationship between the presence or absence of policy roadmaps and the scale of venture capital investment, stock market depth, and working hours across OECD and selected non-OECD countries. Using OECD and World Bank data, roadmap presence is coded as a dummy variable and regression analysis is applied to test correlations. Results show that countries with clear policy roadmaps (e.g., Sweden, France, United States) tend to have deeper investment markets and shorter working hours, while countries without roadmaps (e.g., Japan, Korea, Brazil) exhibit weaker investment markets and longer working hours. The study combines behavioral economics and game theory perspectives, arguing that roadmaps provide psychological assurance and enable cooperative equilibria. Policy recommendations emphasize embedding roadmap culture into institutional reforms and adopting advanced-country practices of small-scale, milestone-linked investment. This record is intended to support comparative policy research and reproducible analysis.
