Of course, there were certain reasons for this; First of all, Professor M.Chobanov was born and raised in Georgia, received his secondary and higher education in Georgia, lived in Georgia for about 60 years of his life, worked for a long time as a teacher, professor, deputy head of the department and head of the department in the Azerbaijani department of the University, where he received his higher education. Although he later lived in Baku, he did not break off relations with Georgia until the end of his life, maintained regular contact, visited Georgia at least 4-5 times a year, met with former Georgian colleagues, as well as Azerbaijani poets and writers living in Georgia, and was closely involved in the literary environment of Tbilisi and the literary process here. participated, a series of articles about his life and work were published in the Georgian press, and all this further intensified the friendly relations between the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples.

The well-known Georgian poet, literary critic, translator and diplomat Leyla Eradze began to be recognized in the Azerbaijani literary environment as one of the ardent translators, researchers and propagandists of Azerbaijani literature from the middle of the 20th century and in a short time established herself as a master in this field. She made great contributions to the translation and promotion of Azerbaijani literature into Georgian. That is why L. Eradze was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Cultural Worker of Azerbaijan".
