contents
Abstract

In today’s competitive work environment, employee well-being and mental health have become vital determinants of organizational success. Employee well-being encompasses physical, emotional, mental, and social health, while mental health specifically relates to coping with stress, relationships, and decision-making. Neglecting these aspects can lead to burnout, absenteeism, and reduced productivity, whereas supportive initiatives foster resilience, engagement, and innovation. Factors such as long working hours, digital overload, and the COVID-19 pandemic have intensified workplace stress, compelling organizations to adopt initiatives like stress management workshops, flexible work policies, counseling services, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Leadership and Human Resource departments play a crucial role in implementing these strategies to enhance job satisfaction, retention, and organizational culture. Beyond business outcomes, these initiatives contribute to breaking stigma, promoting inclusiveness, and building healthier communities. Thus, employee well being and mental health programs have shifted from optional benefits to essential strategies for ensuring both organizational sustainability and societal progress.
