The proteins combine with carbohydrates as well as lipids form glycoprotein and lipoprotein. An association with the metal ions they form conjugated metaloproteins. The estimation of total protein content in the tissue is estimated by multiplying the nitrogen values with 6.25 factor, however sometime these may not give precise results due to the non –proteinous nitrogen in the tissue.

Key words : Roundworms, proteins, parasites, soluble, amino acids etc.
