Cardiovascular diseases were the most frequent and accounted for 9 diagnostic instances across these patients (hypertension, dilated cardiomyopathy, ischaemic heart disease, atrial flutter). Metabolic conditions were identified in four patients (40%) (obesity, type II diabetes mellitus). One patient (10%) had preoperative SARS-CoV-2 infection. Minor comorbidities were documented in five patients (50%), whereas three patients (30%) had no comorbidities. (Figure 6).</p> |
