contents
Abstract

The Integrated Missile Defence System (IMDS) is meant to offer a smart, automated, and affordable means by which tactical and defensive bases can be resisted by air threats like missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. This project tries to create a practical prototype that will demonstrate the principles of missile detection, tracking, and interception with embedded systems and sensor-based innovations. The system is to be designed to simulate the detection and targeting functions of radar using an Arduino board, ultrasonic sensors, servo motors, and a breadboard. The prototype recognizes the threats coming at it within a given range and triggers the protection system in its automatic mode to stop such threats. Such a combination of control algorithms and sensors makes the system reach fast and precise decisions with minimum human intervention.
