| contents | <p><strong>This article argues that biblical revelation operates through a deliberate logic of mirroring rather than equality, in which divine realities are reflected, inverted, or imitated by subordinate counterparts. Focusing on Revelation 12:9 and 20:2, the study distinguishes the ancient serpent, Satan, and the devil as functionally distinct adversarial roles—primordial deception, judicial accusation, and social division—that are progressively unified in apocalyptic literature as a single counterfeit unity. Drawing on canonical mirror cases such as Sarah and Hagar (Galatians 4), the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve princes of Ishmael, and the Genesis Flood mirrored in Revelation, the article demonstrates that Scripture consistently preserves structural parallels without theological equivalence. The resulting model identifies a “satanic trinity” not as a rival divinity, but as a parasitic imitation of divine order, fully subordinate to monotheistic theology and revealed only at the close of biblical history .</strong></p> |
