- <p>The Swedish National Archive's database Svenskt Diplomatariums Huvudkartotek (SHDK, https://sok.riksarkivet.se/SDHK) contains information on all charters, letters and other documents that were issued in Sweden (both its current and medieval borders), issued by Swedes, or concern Swedes or institutions in Sweden (for example a German merchant's will, that bequests money to a monastery in Sweden). Bo Franzén at Stockholm University used this dataset and extracted data on place of issue and location (country and/or county within Sweden) as well as categorising the issuers according to social status. Lena Strid at Lund University further adapted this dataset in 2017-2022 for her thesis, including scribes, social status of recipients, etc. </p>
