| contents | <p><span>This study examines the impact of Capacity Building on the Performance of teaching staff in Federal University Birnin-Kebbi (FUBK). The study adopts survey research design. The population of the study consists of 495 teaching staff of Federal University, Birnin- Kebbi. Krejcie and Morgan Table (1970) was used to arrive at sample of 214 respondents which were selected using simple random sampling technique. The data generated was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS version 26, while Human Capital Development theory was used as the theoretical framework that underpinned the study. The finding shows that mentoring, training and development has a positive and significant impact on the performance of teaching staff in Federal University, Birnin Kebbi. The research recommends that, the University management should give more emphasis to mentoring; training and development to enhance the performance of their teaching staff in order to enable them to achieve their mission and vision.</span> </p> |
