- <p>This preprint introduces the Scale–Relational Observer Model (SROM), an axiomatic framework for detecting and characterising scale-dependent coherence and critical transition scales. We formalise observational resolution via an observer semigroup and derive structural results ensuring an interior critical scale and (under mild conditions) a unique dominant coherence peak.
