In this context, the instrumentalization of the tragedy, as expressed by Norman Finkelstein with the concept of the “Holocaust Industry” and specifically the coding of criticisms regarding the State of Israel’s policies as antisemitism, are analyzed through selected examples. Within this framework, the answers received to three questions asked via ChatGPT (“Holocaust Industry” “Similarity between Palestine and the Holocaust” and “Changes in the Perception of Israel-Judaism in the World”) were analyzed as the sample of the study. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that while AI algorithms code inquiries about the Holocaust as antisemitism, they give hesitant answers such as “sensitive issue” or “multifaceted political issue” regarding the suffering in Palestine and Gaza. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that filtering is applied to block information accepted as antisemitism in searches made via AI. The main objective of the study is to reveal that AI content design is under the influence of ideological hegemony and that the data/sources used are presented to users in a filtered manner by AI systems.</span></p>
