contents
This research addresses a critical gap in the early diagnosis of myocardial infarction (MI) by evaluating the diagnostic superiority of the 15-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) over the conventional 12-lead ECG. While the 12-lead ECG is a frontline tool in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) assessment, it often fails to detect ischemic changes in the right ventricle (RV) and posterior wall—areas where missed diagnoses can lead to severe complications, including cardiogenic shock and increased mortality.
