- <p dir="ltr">This study analyzes modern consumption practices through the conceptual lens of the "Archaic Code," examining the individual's position within financial and social systems along the axes of the "Dogma of Property" and "Perpetual Growth." Premised on the assumption that consumption is hard-coded into human DNA and consciousness as a historical and biopolitical software, the paper discusses how indebtedness, status anxiety, and digital comparison mechanisms transform the individual into a "Digital Serf." In light of current 2024 data from the IMF and OECD, the fact that the global debt-to-GDP ratio has reached 237% proves that borrowing is no longer merely a transitory financial instrument but a structural protocol of existence. By synthesizing Baudrillard’s "System of Objects" and Veblen’s "Conspicuous Consumption" theories with the "sense of inadequacy" generated by platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, this work deciphers the psychopolitical dimensions of the architecture of control. The concluding section explores the possibilities of infrastructural and cognitive resistance against the manipulative nature of the system.</p>
