| contents | <p><span lang="EN-US">The accelerated diffusion of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping contemporary labor markets, yet empirical evidence capturing how professionals perceive its organizational and labor-related implications remains limited. This exploratory, cross-sectional study examines professional perceptions of AI adoption and impact across multiple industrial sectors. Using a structured survey instrument, the analysis focuses on perceived effects on employability, remuneration, innovation, commercial activities, and long-term sectoral transformation. Descriptive statistics, sectoral comparisons, and unsupervised clustering techniques were applied to identify professional profiles based on response patterns. Results reveal substantial heterogeneity across sectors and profiles, as well as a persistent decoupling between perceived employability requirements and remuneration expectations. The findings suggest that AI-generated value is primarily captured at the organizational level, while individual professionals experience indirect and uneven benefits. From a social and administrative sciences perspective, the study contributes empirical evidence supporting a context-dependent understanding of AI-driven labor market transformation.</span></p> |
