- <p><em><span>Information seeking behaviour (ISB) among users of law college libraries in India is a multidimensional phenomenon shaped by academic demands, legal research practices, institutional infrastructure, and the rapid transition from print to digital ecosystems. Law students, faculty, and researchers often require timely access to primary and secondary legal sources, including case law, statutes, commentaries, and scholarly articles. This research article examines the conceptual foundations of ISB, the unique patterns observed among law library users in India, the impact of digital legal resources, and the structural, technological, and pedagogical aspects of law college libraries that influence such behaviours. The article concludes with strategic recommendations for strengthening legal information literacy, optimizing library services, and redesigning collections to meet evolving user expectations in Indian legal education.</span></em></p>
