contents
This paper presents a Universal Resonance Model (URM) interpretation of periodic paralysis as a dynamical instability rather than a structural neuromuscular disorder. Periodic paralysis is analyzed as a resonance failure involving ion channel dynamics, metabolic regulation, and autonomic control. The framework explains episodic weakness, metabolic sensitivity, and reversibility of symptoms through loss of phase coherence and reduced system damping. The work serves as a conceptual validation paper within the URM series and provides a systems-level explanation consistent with known clinical and physiological observations.
