contents
This work presents a combined literature review and research proposal focused on real-time data-intensive web systems operating in high-stakes application domains. The review synthesizes prior research across system architecture, real-time data processing, interactive visualization, and trust-aware analytics, with particular attention to domains where latency, reliability, and transparency are critical for decision-making.

Building on the reviewed literature and the author’s prior work on real-time trading systems, compliance monitoring platforms, and blockchain-integrated applications, the proposal identifies key research gaps related to system-level trust, explainability of real-time analytics, and the integration of visualization techniques with trust-aware system design.

The research proposal outlines concrete research questions, methodological approaches, and evaluation strategies aimed at improving architectural robustness, transparency, and user trust in real-time web systems. The proposed work is intended as a foundation for future master’s-level research in applied computer science, data-intensive systems, and human-centered analytics.
