contents <p><span lang="EN-US">This dataset, "</span> <span lang="EN-US">Parenting Style and Adolescent Reactive Aggression: The Chain-Mediating Role of Difficulties in Emotion Regulation and Angry Rumination, and the Moderating Role of Self-Control," was collected from multiple primary and secondary schools via the Wenjuanxing platform (https://www.Sojump.com/) between </span><span lang="EN-US">September to November </span><span lang="EN-US">2025. Using a random sampling method, 1076 valid responses were obtained to examine the relationships among parenting style, difficulties in emotion regulation, angry rumination, self-control, and reactive aggression.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US"> </span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">The dataset includes demographic variables and key psychological factors, such as difficulties in emotion regulation and angry rumination, which were analyzed as mediators. The data provide insights into the mechanisms linking parenting style and reactive aggression, providing clear directions for effectively preventing and reducing reactive aggression among adolescents.</span></p>
