| contents |
This paper explores the synthesis of fractal geometry and information geometry, termed Fractal Information Geometry (FIG), as a framework for understanding the structural and topological complexities of human knowledge. Traditional Euclidean and linear models of information often fail to account for the multi-scale, self-similar, and non-integer dimensional nature of intellectual progress and data relationships. By applying the principles of the Fisher Information Metric within a fractal manifold, this study proposes that knowledge is not a static repository but a dynamic, self-organizing system. The paper discusses applications in cognitive science, digital epistemology, and the modeling of interdisciplinary networks. Findings suggest that FIG provides a robust mathematical language for mapping the "rugged landscape" of human understanding, offering insights into how information density and connectivity evolve across scales.
|
