| contents | <p>Abstract Unlike the 20th century, we are facing a new transformation in the aesthetic process of stage design, techniques, ideas and performance spaces. With the presence and modern plays that suggest a special space and a different perspective, all elements, the performance space and new technologies are used to present a different space. Among these spaces, I can name minimal art, which is a product of pop art, which is made of three-dimensional works and different pieces. This art was due to the artists' break with tradition of that period. All minimalists believed in the slogan "Less is always best". Minimalism is a movement that moves towards reduction, by eliminating external manifestations in favor of the concept of finding things. This research aims to investigate the aesthetic functions of minimalism and the structural importance and position of stage design in the contemporary era and pay attention to the qualities of the specific space of the performance, which are the characteristics of the reciprocal stage design, in response to the question: Is this method or or responsive to the audience in contemporary society? Is this approach used or not and how? The research method is descriptive-analytical and the library method and virtual spatial functions were used in collecting information. The present article, in explaining the generalities of the research and reviewing the history of Minimalism, analyzes the aesthetic idea of creating Minimal space. What emerges from this research is the idea of maintaining the originality of the theater on the dynamism and visual diversity in creating space and its existence with the theater audience.</p> |
