| contents |
This paper isolates and resolves a persistent category error in physics: the conflation of physical interactions that drive a system’s evolution with interactions that merely correlate states for observation. Using a strict physical-admissibility criterion and a removal test, it shows that observation necessarily involves energy and momentum exchange, yet such exchanges do not constitute dynamic enforcement unless they modify the form of the system’s governing equations of motion. By sharply separating correlating interactions from enforcing dynamics—and explicitly accounting for back-reaction without elevating it to a driver—the paper clarifies what does and does not physically cause motion across classical and quantum contexts.
|
