contents
This dataset contains visual magnitude estimates of the variable star GN Sge, obtained from photographic observations made with the Seven-Camera Astrograph of the Odessa Astronomical Observatory. The magnitudes were estimated visually from photographic plates.

The data are provided as a time series of Julian Dates (JD) and corresponding stellar magnitudes in the photovisual magnitude system. All Julian Dates are strictly increasing and unique. The numerical precision of the original measurements is fully preserved.

A colon “:” following a magnitude denotes an uncertain visual estimate, in accordance with standard variable-star observing practice. Unmarked values represent normal-confidence estimates.

The dataset is intended for studies of long-term variability, historical light-curve reconstruction, and comparison with catalog and survey data. It supplements information available in major astronomical databases such as SIMBAD and the General Catalogue of Variable Stars (GCVS).

Data summary:
– Number of observations: 534
– Julian Date range: JD 2436381.4712 – 2443069.2674
– Observation type: visual estimates from photographic plates
– Instrument: Seven-Camera Astrograph, Odessa Astronomical Observatory
– Magnitude system: photovisual
